Victory Through Every Season

Having the victory through every season and every trial you go through simply means, believing Gods Word to be true; despite what you see with your eyes. In Hebrews 11:1 we know that “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.”

In 2017 we heard the Word of the Lord tell us to “go”. Although it was a difficult start, we held on to God’s Word, and we saw the victory everywhere we went. In every crusade people were saved, healed, and delivered. Faith does not give up, it presses on until you see it with your eyes. Victory comes as you stand upon God’s Word and praise Him through every situation. Your faith is rooted in His Word. Faith believes that with God all things are possible!

“For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.”

1 John 5:4 NLT

How to Strengthen Your Faith

Sometimes faith may be weak and once you are in the middle of your trial you think all is loss. This is when you take the biggest steps because it is when God gets to carry you. No longer can you use your strength you will need Gods help and the help of others. This is where you strengthen your faith with the tools God has given you.

The following are a few steps that will strengthen your faith to believe God in any area. Use these tools to continue on in the journey to victory:

1- Faith Comes by Hearing Gods Word

In Romans 10:17 the Bible states “So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing the Word of God.” The word cometh here means to be built up to be strengthened. The best thing to do when we are at a place where we feel defeated is to hear Gods Word. Gather scriptures for the situation you are in and confess those out loud. It is good to make the scripture your own by putting your self in it. For instance take 1 John 5:4 say it out loud as I have written it.

I am a child of God I am not defeated in fact I am victorious, the enemy is defeated the works of the enemy cannot stand. I achieve this victory because I have faith in God. My faith in God has allowed me to have victory over every work of the enemy. I have faith in God and with it I achieve victory. Hallelujah I have the victory. I have the victory now.

2- Build Faith By Praying in the Spirit

In Jude verse 20 the Bible tells us we can build up faith or strengthen faith. How? by praying in the Spirit. “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,” If you have been baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues you might as well start speaking in your heavenly language right now. See how strong you get when you do this. The Holy Spirit, He is in you to establish Gods kingdom anywhere you go. When you pray in your heavenly language this is exactly what you do. You change atmosphere, you change attitudes, you change environment, you bring heaven to earth.

3- Work & Make Faith Alive

If the only thing that can bring us victory is Faith in God and faith without works is dead. Your gonna have to work. I don’t mean a job I mean get to doing Gods business. We see it in James 2:15-17 the Amplified:

If a brother or sister is without [adequate] clothing and lacks [enough] food for each day, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace [with my blessing], [keep] warm and feed yourselves,” but he does not give them the necessities for the body, what good does that do? 17 So too, faith, if it does not have works [to back it up], is by itself dead [inoperative and ineffective].

I cant tell you how many times we have had people come to our offices needing prayer because they lost their job and need to work in order to feed there family. We pray with them but the answer we give them to their problem astonishes them. We always give them a mop or a broom and tell them to get to work. Why because faith without works is dead is why. If we expect victory without proper actions then what you are searching for is a hand out and God does not operate that way. Faith without works is dead, getting out of our situations without working is another problem altogether. Get to work. Do something, sitting watching Netflix wont do it. Get to work and go win souls realize that your problem is not one and only; the bigger problem is all those people who don’t know Jesus. Get to work go tell your neighbor about Jesus and watch your circumstances become victories.

I declare that today is the day of victory as I strengthen my faith using the tools God has blessed me with. I make a decision to have victory in my life. By declaring Gods Word over my life, praying in the Spirit, and putting work to my faith I am strengthened. I see the victory, I have the victory, I live in victory.
