If we could somehow know Gods heart on a matter, would we even be inclined to feel as He feels? As we look towards the south from a place of comfort here in Texas, a nation is being ravaged by earthquakes. To the east of us across our gulf many storms arise to demolish all in its path. The instinct of humanity has always been to suspect a judgement. However these episodes of torment will only gather on the earth and be more consistent. So rather than look upon it with the eyes of judgement lets ask.  Is there still time? What is Gods heart? There still is time and His heart is still John 3:16. For God So Loved The World You see the first part of this scripture is significant. The author could have just put God Loved the World. However it would had left questions as to whether when he loved it. The simple addition of the word "so" gives it a connotation that this Love that God has for the World lingers on and on, and on. In fact in my dictionary the word so means "to such a great extent." What is God's heart? He loves the world to such a great extent. Lets put off an old testament mentality and have the understanding that the justice of God is indwelled in Love. This is still the dispensation of grace and He has graced us to let the world know His heart. He has payed a great price for all to know it. What is God's heart? He SO Loves. That He Gave His Only Begotten Son We speak of disasters as if they are a surprises. We look into the destruction as if it were not expected. The fight for souls is on, we will either run with the simple message or we won't. Wherever you may be in all this you have the option to share or not share. We cannot look from afar and say well it did not touch us. When it has touched God's heart so many times over. If you sit as a judge you will be judged by your judgements and your actions better add up to the standards you hold for others. It is better to have God's heart on the matter. His heart is saying I gave my only begotten Son. You see begotten means to procreate, so what God did was put in Mary's womb through the Holy Spirit the first to have life as He has in heaven here on the earth. So as God has life in Himself so Has He given the Son to Have Life in Himself (John 5:26) He gave His son as the first in a line of children that would have exactly what He has in heaven on the earth. You see He gave His only begotten. Meaning their was only one seed he would sow into this ground called earth and if there would only be one seed it would be His best. What is God's heart? He GAVE. That Whosoever Believes in Him Shall Not Perish But have Everlasting Life. Many have perished in the past few months and the truth is it will continue because death has its tally and continues to produce. However we have ours and I propose something to you. That you will love and give this message to more than die. Thats right love and give the message of Jesus to more than die. What if all who read this article went on an...

Galatians‬ ‭6:9‬ ‭NLT‬‬ “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” ‭‭Though you haven't seen the harvest of your decisions, it's coming, it's guaranteed, whether good or bad. The Bible promises that at the right time we will reap a harvest. This is why he encourages us to do two things. The first is don't get tired of doing good in other translations it states not to grow tired of doing what is Godly. The second thing is don't give up. We might have grown tired because everyone else around us might have quit; or maybe the crowd is overwhelming you in your decision making. The Lord says to those getting tired don't do it. In other words take a cold shower wake up because their is still work to do. To those who are ready to give up the Lord says don't give up because a harvest is on its way. So many give up right when the harvest is ready. Just wait it out, believe God, and watch Him bless you and bless others around you. Genesis‬ ‭8:22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ “While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.” ‭‭The decisions you make today will produce for you tomorrow. You might be compromising your walk with God today. Maybe you are doing things you know you shouldn't, or allowing those negative thoughts to rule your decisions. Maybe you are even allowing your fire for the things of God to die out; you stopped going to church and withdrew yourself from those that can pray for you and hold you accountable. You may have stopped praying and seeking God, eventually you will reap the harvest of these choices. You will end up defeated, alone and empty. The Lord is saying through this scripture in Genesis that as long as the earth remains the rules stay the same. No one can live by different rules for as long as God has it set up, seedtime and harvest is an absolute fact. No one gets a special set of rules other than the ones given to us by God. So choose what is Godly choose what is good.  ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:7-8‬ ‭NLT‬‬ So choose to do what's right, not necessarily what's easy, so that your harvest will be a blessing not only to you but to others around. The Bible says, "Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.” A famous writer by the name of Robert Frost wrote "Two roads diverged in a wood and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference." We must choose what is right not what is easy. Maybe what is right is not the easy road and not many take its path. However we can say it has made all the difference in our lives. The road less traveled exist to please God which...

Take Out Your Receipt

By Pastor Kevin Ortiz 1 Peter 1:18- 25 For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but now in these last days he has been revealed for your sake. Through Christ you have come to trust in God. And you have placed your faith and hope in God because he raised Christ from the dead and gave him great glory. You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.  For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. The Bible says that Jesus paid the ransom through His blood for sin, guilt, shame, and sickness. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. God chose him as your ransom… v.19-20  Whatever debt that we had because of sin was paid through the precious blood of Christ. This includes a payment for sickness and disease. A ransom or a price paid for our sins and shortcomings. In Isaiah 53: 4-5 the Bible declares that Jesus paid the price for our sins. He was wounded, He was bruised, He was rebuked, He was whipped. By His Stripes we are healed. You don't have to accept the debt of sin, guilt, shame, and sickness ~ PK Just think about this if I took you out to eat at a restaurant and I decide to bless you and pay for your meal. Now we have finished our meals and we start to walk out, suddenly the waiter stops you and says "Hey you have not paid for your food." All you would need to do is show that waiter the receipt. By showing the receipt it proves that the meal was paid and no price is owed. You see this is what we do when the devil comes and waves sin, guilt, shame, and sickness at us, we show him the receipt. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless lamb of God. God chose Him as my ransom… This is why it is unacceptable for the believer to ever pay a price for sin and sickness. Say this out loud: The DEBT does not belong TO ME!!! Jesus paid my debt on Calvary ~ PK Follow the following steps whenever sickness, fear, shame, or guilt tries to attach itself to you: 1- Don’t Take Ownership Because Jesus has paid the price it is up to you to either take ownership or not take ownership when sin, guilt, shame, and sickness come around. If it comes around back to you, you have to return to sender like you would a letter that came in the mail by mistake. If the letter does not belong to you, you give it to the postal service and tell them to return it this does not belong to me. Say this out loud: Devil you cannot curse who God has blessed ~ PK It is only a temporary condition it is never your...

Clean The Windows of Your Heart

By Pastor Veronica Ortiz I want to talk to you about how we receive Gods Word. So many times, we say we want to see God and receive the best He has for us; however we cannot receive His best when we have polluted our hearts with fits of anger, hurt, betrayal, confusion, hate, failure, and rage. I want you to understand this; every time that you feel like doing the wrong thing and giving in to fits of emotion but choose instead to do the right thing this means you are growing in God. ~PV In order to receive Gods word the dirty windshield, dirty glasses, dirty window to our hearts must be cleansed. Gods Incorruptible Seed It is important to understand that Gods Word is not the problem. Gods Word is an incorruptible seed. I Peter 1:23 "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." The Word of God is never the problem but the condition of the heart that receives it is. Jesus is the seed that will constantly produce in your life if you let Him. The Word is the seed that was sown and by it you were born again. The seed is perfect however the condition of your heart determines prospective and prospective determines how you receive. Everything is filtered through the condition of the heart. You can keep the window of your heart clean or you can pollute it. If you have decided to shut yourself off and keep a hard heart then thats where the seed of the Word cannot penetrate. ~ PV Guarding Your Heart In Proverbs 4:23 the NLT we read "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life."  Notice Gods Word here does not say that God will guard your heart, it does not say your neighbor will guard your heart, or that your pastor will guard your heart for you. No, this is something that you will have to do. However the question arises. How? How do we do this? I am not asking you to ignore your feelings. What I am asking you to do is to tell God about them release them to Him. Then you tell Him how you will react according to His Word. In order to be a victorious Christian you will release your stresses and walk out His Word. God needs to be the one which you cast your cares upon because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7) After  this has been done you must replace the care with Gods Word. Casting Your Emotions In order to learn to guard your heart one must learn a very important step to overcoming the hurts that come our way. As we said we must cast our cares and really at the end of the day bad emotions are just cares that will dirty our windows. It becomes so dirty that we won't see and receive Gods Word as we ought. So in this first part of this two part series on receiving Gods Word. We will stop here to clean the windows of our heart. Cares can be people, cares can be circumstances, these things bring us to anger or sadness. Whatever it does we cannot see with dirty windows. I Peter 5:7 "Casting all your care upon him; for he...

Healing Under the Tent

By Tony Martinez We believe that Jesus heals now, that He will heal you, and that their is no disease or pain to great for Him. The following is a quick video that will inspire your faith in the area of physical healing. Pastor Kevin prayed for many in Ebano, Mexico under the crusade tent. As you will see people received sight, pains lifted, and one that had not walked in a while walked again. Please watch and receive your healing today.   Please do the following then e-mail us how God healed you: 1- Healing belongs to us through Christ. 1 Peter 2:24, Healing cannot be earned because the price for healing was paid by Jesus. Sickness and disease like sin was carried by Jesus by the stripes on His back. You cannot work hard enough to receive healing you simply receive it. 2- The Name of Jesus; the most Powerful Name. Philippians 2:10 Every knee will bow to that name in heaven. Every knee will bow to that name on earth. Every knee will bow to that name in hell. And every sickness, disease, and pain bows at the name of Jesus. 3- Respond to Gods Power and Move. James 2:17 Faith moves and reacts. Faith needs to be said and acted on. You have Gods Word now move and be healed! Say this out loud and receive your healing: In he name of Jesus sickness, disease, and pain I command you to leave my body. I lay claim to what rightfully belongs to me. I speak to this body now and claim Gods healing power over it. Body be healed in Jesus name. By His stripes I am healed. Thank you Jesus. I am...

At our church we are ready to take on the world  with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we have a passion for reaching out. Our outreach culture has always been one of taking over and conquering for Jesus. Our church possesses the heart of evangelism. We feel that if we stop reaching out we start to become a dead church. We also understand that you need an army to fulfill the task of winning people to the Lord. We are a good army of Love and we round up troops to go forth and conquer. These are 4 things to keep in mind as you and your group goes out to take over your city and neighborhoods: 1- Leave an impacting mark. A tattoo is an impression that stays on a person for a lifetime; even when surgery is performed for removal the skin has this look like something was there before. You see if we go anywhere in our community we should be impacting it. Why? Because of the Holy Spirit is why. I don't mean just being loud and make a seen. I mean give way to the Spirit of God as He leads you in this society. Impressions are not only left because of force they are also left because of Love. It is very rare for God to use force, He will use Love to conquer even the darkest of hearts. Matthew 5:13 (NLT) “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. I have lived in snowy climates for many long years, I have seen winters that seemed as if they had no end. I remember the taste of the salt that was used to be trampled under foot. We used this type of rock salt on the sidewalks and streets so that people and cars would not slip in the ice left by snow. That salt tasted like chemicals and I remember that it was very bad for my stomach. You see that salt lost its taste, instead of it being used for food like a warm soup it is only good for the ground. Instead of bringing nourishment it is only good for those going and coming to have steady grip. I don't think any of us ever want to loose out on taste. If one does their is only one purpose and thats to see others GO! 2- Minister to the one as well as the multitude. Yes it's a big event, crusade, conference but remember even the ones that no one wants to talk to need you to listen and pray for them. My friend Mike a minister who has traveled the world sharing the good news once told me: that everywhere he went to speak whether if it was a big or small event the most unlikely people would want to just hang out with him. Soon after services a bunch of children, homeless, and loners would come and just want to be around him. I know its because He has the quality of leaving the big group to be with the ones no one enjoys time with. Read the following and see how Jesus spoke of leaving the big thing and group to pursue individuals and sit with them. Luke 15:1-7 (NLT) Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. And the...

Love is Larger

We love listening to one of our favorite preachers Corrie Ten Boom and reading her quotes. There is one that always stuck out and that is "love is larger than the walls that shut it in." You see if you have been around long enough in the church world we tend to keep love shut in within the confines of a building. The presence of God for some is only experienced at an altar. The move of God can only come at a conference. The rest of the week we are busy with no time for God and certainly not the move of God in public places like a parking lot or a store. However, Gods love is larger than the walls we think it can be kept in. This is why we do events, outreach, and other things like it to show forth Gods love and power to this community. On July 28th thru the 30th FPG CHUCRH did just that. We set out as a team to put on an event that would rival that of any big festival in our area. Over 4,000 friends, family, children, and parents came out for the 3 day Jesus Loves The RGV, Back 2 School Party. Over 1000 back packs were handed out to children going back to school, and best of all the Gospel was presented and many received Jesus as their Lord and Savior knowing for possibly the first time that Jesus truly loves them. We spoke to the director of the event Pastor Tony Martinez he had this to say. "We have been commissioned as a church to pray for, fund, or coordinate 4 crusades this year. The Lord has blessed us with possibly 6 and who knows how much more we will do by the end of the year. This church and its members are on fire to see what Pastor Kevin has preached that all receive salvation, healing, and deliverance." The church of Acts had it right as their focus went to sharing this good news that Jesus saves, heals, and delivers. The church stayed together through worship and communion. "They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord's Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity--" Acts 2:46 NLT. Through their unity in Gods presence and fellowship with each other they were also made generous. We are truly proud of what has been happening the whole year here at FPG CHURCH. To God be all the glory and praise. However the year is not over we are looking forward to our next two crusades; at the end of this month we have one more in Mexico and in the fall we have one in Argentina. Please pray for us and if the Lord leads give an offering to this great work of God. As a church we will continue to fulfill what God has called us to. To Save, Heal, and Deliver through the Name of Jesus. To give to our next crusades in Mexico and Argentina click this link.    God bless you.   FPG CHURCH...

He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.  To those of us who have a broken heart, there is a God that heals. To those of us who have been in pain that no man can see. Pain that no surgeon can open and heal. To those of us who have been hurt by others so bad that the pain has left us restless or shooked. So shooked we cannot respond, so shooked we are all alone in a place of anguish.  Hurt why? It was not just anyone who did the hurting it was one or many who got close and had your love and trust. To those of us who have a broken heart there is a God who heals us. There is a God who bandages up our wounds. No longer do we walk as one wounded without a healer or one broken without repair. He counts the stars and calls them all by name.  Our God counts the stars something that is impossible for us to do. If we took the greatest minds in the world and asked them to perform such a task they would be bewildered; they would come out with the understanding of the magnitude that it takes to count the stars. Our God not only counts the stars but has called them by name; a creator with His shinny creations. To those of us who think our problem is bigger than anyone else's there is a God who can handle it. If a star could be counted, named, and called then so to can we his priced possessions. To those of us who think there is no purpose after the hurts; let it be known to you that you will rise even brighter than the sun to do Gods work again. When God has called you by name you to will perform the task His name embraces. How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension!  Many times it has been said how great is our God and yes He is great. He has done so much for us already and is ready to do more. However here we wait still hurt but functioning, still wounded but walking. It took everything you had to believe you could take those steps, you would take a broken leg rather than a broken heart. To those of us who still wait His power is absolute, it knows no boundaries and knows no end. However one thing is greater in your life and that is a decision only you can make. What a power rivals the will of man against God. To say no is to say no, to not make a decision is to say no again. To those of us who wait. God waits with you and He understands. Now that love is beyond comprehension, The love that is willing to wait when it does not have to. So to those of us who counter God and wait let it be known today is your day of healing today is your day to rest. We always like to leave our readers with a faith action. Pray the following out loud and see how God moves to heal you of a broken heart. Father I forgive those who have trespassed against me to hurt me. I ask you to forgive me for holding ill will against them. Heal me of my wounds and restore me. Make me strong again in the things that matter and make me to walk in newness of life. I love you, I honor you, and I worship you. In...
