If we could somehow know Gods heart on a matter, would we even be inclined to feel as He feels? As we look towards the south from a place of comfort here in Texas, a nation is being ravaged by earthquakes. To the east of us across our gulf many storms arise to demolish all in its path. The instinct of humanity has always been to suspect a judgement. However these episodes of torment will only gather on the earth and be more consistent. So rather than look upon it with the eyes of judgement lets ask.  Is there still time? What is Gods heart? There still is time and His heart is still John 3:16.

For God So Loved The World

You see the first part of this scripture is significant. The author could have just put God Loved the World. However it would had left questions as to whether when he loved it. The simple addition of the word “so” gives it a connotation that this Love that God has for the World lingers on and on, and on. In fact in my dictionary the word so means “to such a great extent.” What is God’s heart? He loves the world to such a great extent. Lets put off an old testament mentality and have the understanding that the justice of God is indwelled in Love. This is still the dispensation of grace and He has graced us to let the world know His heart. He has payed a great price for all to know it. What is God’s heart? He SO Loves.

That He Gave His Only Begotten Son

We speak of disasters as if they are a surprises. We look into the destruction as if it were not expected. The fight for souls is on, we will either run with the simple message or we won’t. Wherever you may be in all this you have the option to share or not share. We cannot look from afar and say well it did not touch us. When it has touched God’s heart so many times over. If you sit as a judge you will be judged by your judgements and your actions better add up to the standards you hold for others. It is better to have God’s heart on the matter. His heart is saying I gave my only begotten Son. You see begotten means to procreate, so what God did was put in Mary’s womb through the Holy Spirit the first to have life as He has in heaven here on the earth. So as God has life in Himself so Has He given the Son to Have Life in Himself (John 5:26) He gave His son as the first in a line of children that would have exactly what He has in heaven on the earth. You see He gave His only begotten. Meaning their was only one seed he would sow into this ground called earth and if there would only be one seed it would be His best. What is God’s heart? He GAVE.

That Whosoever Believes in Him Shall Not Perish But have Everlasting Life.

Many have perished in the past few months and the truth is it will continue because death has its tally and continues to produce. However we have ours and I propose something to you. That you will love and give this message to more than die. Thats right love and give the message of Jesus to more than die. What if all who read this article went on an evangelistic blitz? What if we said to ourselves I have Gods heart on the matters of the earth and people. I have Gods terms for it. Gods heart is that …whoever believes in him (Christ) will not perish. God’s heart is that whoever believes will have …everlasting life. What is God’s heart?

John 3:16 (KJV)

For God So loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

If you are reading this and have never received God’s gift of salvation. The Bible clearly states that Jesus has come to seek and save those who are lost (Luke 19:10) If you are ready to receive Him say this out loud:

Jesus I believe in my heart that you died on the cross and that you were raised from the dead. Thank you Father for giving Jesus your only begotten son for my sins. I see through Him how much you love me. I now have everlasting life I am a new creation in Christ I am a child of God.
