See the Promise and Step Out
Scripture: “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”— Matthew 6:33
Vision allows you to see beyond where you are and recognize where God is taking you. The enemy wants your attention fixed on present limitations, but God writes a picture of His purpose upon your heart.
You were created for more than survival. God has prepared works through which you will serve people, advance His kingdom, and reveal Jesus to the world. The possessions and resources you need are additions; the true vision is what God desires to accomplish through your life.
Vision must be joined with faith. Peter did not walk on water because conditions were perfect. He walked because Jesus said, “Come.” Faith is not needed when everything is calm, visible, and guaranteed. Faith is for the storm. If you have a word from God, you possess what you need to take the next step.
Do not allow a past failure to send you back into the boat. When Peter began to sink, Jesus lifted him, and they walked back together. God is not finished with you because you stumbled. Keep your eyes on Christ and continue moving forward.
You are not small in the kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit lives within you, and God has chosen you for this time. Destroy the lack of vision. Seek His kingdom, believe His Word, and step toward the promise. The God who delivered you from Egypt and sustained you in the wilderness will remain faithful in the land of promise.
Prayer: Lord, open my eyes to see what You have prepared for me. Deliver me from fear and limited thinking. Give me faith to obey Your voice and courage to take the next step. May my life advance Your kingdom and bring You glory. Amen.
Practical Challenge: Write down one vision or assignment God has placed in your heart. Beneath it, write one practical step of faith you can take this week—and commit to doing it.
